8 Reasons Why...

8 Reasons Why Proper Load Sizing Is Important...

1) Undersized Equipment. Having equipment that is too small can lead to discomfort during periods of extreme weather.

2) Economics. Properly sized equipment operates more cost effectively. Too much air to one room and shorting others causes increased run times, and uses more power, which drives up the utility bills.

3) Moisture Control. Systems that are oversized by more than 15% fail to remove moisture properly. In humid climates in particular, this can be disastrous as mold growth is prevalent.

4) Equipment Cost. Installing a system that is too large costs the homeowner in upfront equipment expense and can cause the contractor to lose a project because the bid contained a unit that was more expensive than his competition.

5) Control of Proposal. Contractors can use load calculations as the ultimate tool during sales proposals to prospective customers. It is just an added feature that your competitors do not provide.

6) Piece of Mind. Having and accurate load calculation provides piece of mind to the homeowner as validation to the system installed, and the contractor knows he has a lot less likely chance of being called back for service issues.

7) Certifiable Proof. In the world we live in, it is highly advisable to protect your intersts. A load calculation using ACCA approved software  serves as proof to potential judges or jurors if any legal matters  arise.

8) Energy Conservation. Saving energy and improving on our current consumption trends is the right thing to do. Become part of the solution, not part of the problem.
